The Slater School District Board of Education took several actions during its meeting on Tuesday, September 26.

It was announced that Elementary School Principal Becky Drummond has been selected for the Commissioner’s Principal Advisory Council.

Superintendent Terry Lorenz also reported that the board approved a Vocational School Agreement with Marshall High School. Lorenz says eight Slater students take advantage of the program.

Attendance and enrollment numbers were reported during the meeting as well. Slater Elementary reports enrollment at 224 students with a 92.8 percent attendance. The high school has 136 students with a 94.6 percent attendance.
