Resurfacing and asphalting work is scheduled in Sedalia from Monday, October 9 through Friday, October 13.

The City of Sedalia’s Public Works Department will be asphalting West 11th Street, Royal Boulevard. and Leone Avenue.

Asphalt work will begin each day at 6 a.m. and continue through 5 p.m. until the project is complete. During these hours each day, lane closures will result in the roadway being reduced to a single lane of traffic with flaggers present and a reduced speed of 15 miles per hour.

Travelers are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays. Residents living along this roadway will need to coordinate with City crews on site should they need to access their driveways. Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
