The Pettis County Commission presented a proclamation to Citizens Against Spousal Abuse (CASA) declaring October 2023 as “Domestic Violence Awareness Month” on Thursday, October 5.

The proclamation urges all citizens to actively participate in the scheduled activities and programs to work toward improving victim safety and holding perpetrators of domestic abuse accountable.

The Commission says it is dedicated to increasing awareness and preventing domestic violence within the community.
