The Sedalia Police Department arrested a subject after a traffic stop on October 9.

The traffic stop was the result of an investigation conducted by police department and the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers stopped a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Eric Wilson, and arrested him on two outstanding warrants. A K9 unit was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Cocaine was located in the vehicle.

Wilson has been charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. Bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety.
