A Wooldridge woman was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Cooper County on Wednesday, October 11.

According the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when an unknown vehicle struck 59-year-old Terry Ricketts in the roadway while traveling Eastbound on I-70. The vehicle reportedly left the scene.

Ricketts was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Cooper County Coroner.

The accident occurred at 10:35 p.m. on Eastbound I-70 at Mile Marker 110.8 in Cooper County.
