
Two Holden residents were injured in a crash with an Amish buggy on Wednesday, October 11.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a 2011 Dodge Ram struck the rear of the buggy driven by 22-year-old Chris Kemp. Both Kemp and 20-year-old passenger Katie Kemp were ejected from the buggy. The buggy came to a rest on top of the horse that was pulling it.
Katie Kemp was transported by life flight for treatment of serious injuries. Chris Kemp had minor injuries.
The accident occurred at 5:35 p.m. on Southbound Highway O, north of Southwest 745th Road in Johnson County.
