A Carrollton woman was killed in a fatal accident on Saturday, October 14.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Nancy Gardner crossed over Highway 24 and struck an embankment.

Gardner was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The accident occurred at 6:25 p.m. on Missouri 41 at Highway 24 in Carroll County.
