A two vehicle traffic crash resulting in one driver with serious injuries being life-flighted.

A Clinton man was life-flighted after suffering a serious injury in Lafayette County.

The crash occurred approximately at 3:38 p.m. Monday October 16, in Lafayette County on MO 13- North of Route YY.
25-year old Luke Vollenweider of Warrensburg was traveling southbound as his vehicle crossed the center line and struck northbound driver 51-year-old Robert Bailey of Clinton, who suffered serious injuries and was transported via Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Both drivers were reported to be wearing safety devices.
