The Marshall City council approved a resolution earlier this week approving the task order for professional services with Engineering Surveys and Services LLC, for the storm drainage engineering project.

Engineering Surveys and Services LLC. Operations Manager John Bergthold talked about the location of the project.

Bergthold clears up discussion of other construction that is co-occurring in the city that is unrelated to this project. He says he has been in communication with other the contractors working in the city regarding these storm water drainage updates.

The council also approved the second reading of an ordinance with HDR Engineering Inc, on Tuesday nights meeting agenda to amend the original agreement set back in June of 2021, for Marshall’s Municipal Airport.

City Administrator JD Kehrman gave a description of the project location as well as funds and grants available for the city to navigate.

Also that night, the council approved an ordinance to set the next municipal election for April 2,2024.
