Dylan Lee Giffen, 29, of Mt. Leonard, MO, died Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in Saline County.

A memorial gathering will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2023, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall.  Memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born November 12, 1993, in Lexington, MO, he was the son of Richard M. “Rick” Giffen who survives of Wheatland and Jennifer Troester Jenkins who survives of Bosworth.  Dylan lived in the Saline County area his entire life and was a 2011 graduate of Santa Fe High School.  On March 25, 2022, he married Ashley Nicole Melies who survives of the home.  Dylan worked as a bridge sandblaster for Long Blasting.

In addition to his parents, Rick of Wheatland and Jennifer of Bosworth; and his wife, Ashley of the home; he is survived by a son and daughter, Kaiser Lee Giffen and Kamry George; Ashley’s two children that he loved, Elam Pollard and Jace Bateman; four siblings: Brett Giffen, Anthony Jenkins, Jullian Jenkins and Logan Jenkins; three stepbrothers: Johnathon Hyder, Jason Hyder and Josh Hyder; paternal grandfather, Mike Giffen; maternal grandfather, John Troester; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family.

Dylan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Nancy Orear; and a cousin, Justine Troester.
