Several Halloween related events are scheduled in downtown Sedalia during the final week of October.

The “Witches Night Out” event is scheduled from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 25. The event is a first of its kind ladies event hosted by The Ivory Grille and participating downtown businesses. The Sedalia Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a costume contest at the Fox Event Center. The event is free to attend.

The annual “Downtown Sedalia Trick-or-Treat” is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 31. Downtown businesses and organizations will be handing out candy along South Ohio Avenue. This event also includes the Municipal Building Staff, the Sedalia Fire Department, the Sedalia Police Department, and Pettis County Sheriff’s Department.
