The Saline County Commission met October 25 and discussed a variety of topics.

The commission approved vacation extensions for two employees as well as updating pay roll rates including  for new hires. The commission also approved a contract that wasn’t initially on the agenda. Commissioner Becky Plattner gave details of the contract.

Saline County Clerk Brittani Burton also addressed the room with the facts of no November election to be held.

Also Saline County Collector Cindi Sims finished off with the estimated time county residents should see their tax bill from the office hit their home mailboxes.  She estimated the bills to be sent from the post office around the November 10.

Southern District Commissioner Monte Fenner gave details of a special guest that will be in attendance at the Courthouse.
