Specialist Brian Joshua Snowden passed away in a single military vehicle crash on Oct. 2. Governor Parson has ordered to fly  U.S.flags half-staff today, in his honor as he is laid to rest.

Specialist Snowden was a United States Army Soldier who belonged to D Company, 1st. Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, 1st. Infantry Brigade Combat team, 11th Airborne Division in Fort Wainwright.

In accordance with flag protocol, flags are to be lowered half-staff on the day Specialist Brian Joshua Snowden is laid to rest.
