The Sedalia police department arrested 29-year-old Evans Bankovich for property tampering and resisting arrest early morning on Monday Oct. 30.

Officers were dispatched to the 1400 Block of East 14th street, after a report  of someone breaking into a vehicle.

Officers deployed a drone to locate subject. The footage captured by drone showed Bankovich walking through various yards in the area attempting to avoid law enforcement.

Bankovich, was caught by police and arrested, he was put on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail for 2ND degree tampering with a vehicle and resisting arrest.
