The Knob Noster Fire Department has decided to lift an area burn ban after receiving a few days of rain.

While the burn ban may no longer be in effect, the Knob Noster area is still considered to be in a severe drought.

Residents that are going to burn should contact Johnson County Dispatch 660-747-2266 and give them your contact information, so Fire Trucks don’t show to your address.
