A Corder man was injured in a crash in Saline County on Tuesday, October 31.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle drive by 34-year-old Ryan Lagore attempted to avoid an animal in the roadway. Lagore’s vehicle left the roadway, overturned and came to a rest in the ditch.

Lagore was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The crash occurred at 6:30 a.m. on Marigold Avenue in Saline County.

Area drivers are encouraged to be cautious of deer and other animals in the roadway during this time of year.
