The Missouri Job Center in Sedalia became the most recent recipient of a life saving automated external defibrillator also known as the AED.

Wear Red for Women organization has the goal in mind to put in every place we eat, play, and pray,  housed with a life saving AED device.

According to an American Heart Association study, survival from cardiac arrest doubled when bystanders stepped in to use a publicly available AED, than just waiting on emergency responders to arrive.

An AED gives a victim an electric shock to help restart a heart rhythm when a person is suffering from cardiac arrest aka their heart stops beating.

Since the start of the Wear Red For Women organization began, over 72  AED’s have been placed or committed to various locations.
