State Fair Community College’s The LearningForce is now offering its Commercial Driving Academy on the SFCC-Boonville Kemper campus. The sessions scheduled at this time are November 27 through December 19 and January 2-26.
Truck drivers are in high demand, and SFCC’s entry level driving training program is designed to help businesses and industries grow its transportation workforce with quality drivers. The training is compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations and includes 160 hours of online theory instruction and behind-the-wheel range skills and driving time. Student to teacher ratio is 3:1, and training includes use of a Virage truck driving simulator.
Upon successful completion, students are prepared to earn class A and/or B licenses. Students may add passenger or school bus and hazmat theory endorsements.
