The clocks change November 5, Sunday evening. Fall is the time of year refreshingly to some, that you fall back and hour, essentially gaining one extra hour of sleep at night.
There is much confusion as to who initially came up with the idea and the implementation of the Daylight Saving Time practice, some of those history tidbits report as far back as 1784,as Benjamin Franklin in one of his writing pieces suggested folks go to bed earlier to save the need for extended lamp oil burning times, and then historians also claim George Hudson who was to be believed in officially instating the practice, as he was an avid hunter who wanted access to more light.
Of course we can also read about World War 1 and II implementing the light saving plan for energy savings as well.
Whatever, the history on the Daylight Saving Time controversy, we Missourian’s who need to keep track of time should probably set our clock back an hour Sunday evening before going off to bed.
