
The State Historical Society of Missouri wants to invite the public to a free film screening tiled “Generations: African Americans Experiences in Springfield and the Ozarks”.
The new documentary is produced by Ozarks Public Television. The film will show at the State Historical society of Missouri, 605 Elm Street, in Columbia on Tuesday, November 14, from 6p.m.-8p.m.
The documentary is said to show the lesser known stories of triumph and tragedy that have shaped the regions history, and the impact of the development of Southwest Missouri.
