Marshall FFA students Gentrie and Gage Davis took first place in the SpeakAg State Showcase at the 2023 National FFA Convention.

Both students presented a two-and-a-half minute video showcasing Missouri agriculture. Gentrie said they wanted to provide information about Missouri agriculture, but also wanted to showcase the life of an agriculturalist.

Gage says the pair also interviewed area farmers and producers for the project.

The students presented this video as part of a five minute presentation at the convention on Wednesday, November 1. Gage and Gentrie spoke in front of other members and industry professionals at the showcase.

It was announced that Gage and Gentrie took first place in the state showcase on Friday. November 3.
