The Slater City Council discussed several topics during its meeting on Tuesday, November 7.

Mayor Terry Jordan talked about the success of the Slater Fall Festival, which was held on October 19-21.

In other news, the filing period for the General Municipal Election in April 2024 begins in December. The are several council seats that will be on the ballot, as well as an unexpired term for the position of Mayor.

The sign up begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 5, and ends at 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 26.
