s-c-students-momberg-competition

Smith-Cotton High School AP Biology and Human Anatomy students attended the Momberg Science and Math competition Tuesday at Central Methodist University.

Students took part in a knowledge contest (physics, chemistry, anatomy, biology, college algebra, and trigonometry) and a performance event.

The team of Ancelmo Murguia, Jefftan Glaster, and Zach Bogart won first place in the competition. They each were awarded a $1,000 renewable scholarship to Central Methodist University.

The Momberg has been in existence for two decades and has matched up the best and brightest students from schools all over central Missouri. This is Smith-Cotton’s first year competing in the Momberg.
