Jefferson Avenue Railroad crossing is to be closed permanently Wednesday November 15. The city announced on Thursday November 9. The closure is part of an ongoing project between MODOT and the city of Marshall on improving railroad crossings or permanently closing them.

A second closure scheduled on November 13, and will will be on English street in Marshall.
