A Boonville man was initially on a 24 hour hold and subsequently also arrested on on a warrant is currently being held in the Cooper County Detention Center. (CCDC)
43 year-old Joseph C. Thurman of Boonville, was arrested and transported to the CCDC where he was charged with 1st Degree Harassment.

A bond was set at $20,000 cash or surety. While Thurman was in custody he was served with two outstanding warrants that charged him with FAILURE TO APPEAR on the original charges of FAILURE TO DRIVE ON RIGHT HALF OF ROADWAY RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT as well as FAILURE TO REGISTER MOTOR VEHICLE.

The total bond on those warrants were set at $330 cash only. He remains in CCDC custody at this time
