
Louise Beasley Harms, 92, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sweet Springs, MO, with Pastor Alan Mueller officiating. Visitation will be held preceding the service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Louise was born on March 25, 1931, in East Alton, Illinois to Elvin J. and Hazel M. Hargiss Beasley. On August 27, 1948, Louise married Lester W. Harms of rural Sweet Springs and they lived their 74 years of married life together in the Sweet Springs area. Louise worked for Roxberry Press for 36 years. Louise cared deeply for her family and friends. She loved to embroidery, quilt, and bake/decorate cakes.
Louise is survived by three children: “the oldest” Kathy Taylor of Sumner, TX, “the youngest” Jim Harms (outlaw daughter-in-law Debbie) of Columbia, and “Sandy” Boehmer (outlaw son-in-law Allen) of Concordia, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lester; an infant son; outlaw son-in-law, Bill Taylor (Kathy); grandson, Chad Taylor; her parents; one sister, Elowese Whiteside; and one brother, James Beasley.
Louise will be remembered and deeply missed in the hearts of those she touched.
Louise now rests in eternal peace with our Lord and Savior in heaven with Lester.
