A two-vehicle crash in Lafayette County was reported during the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 14.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred when truck driven by 42-year-old Miguel Grado Melendez failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Nicholas Elridge.

Elridge was transported to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The crash occurred at 6:55 a.m. on Missouri 23 in Lafayette County.
