
State Fair Community College invites the community to its annual “Jingle on the Green,” which is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, November 30, on the Sedalia campus. The event is free, and parking will be available in all campus lots.
SFCC President Dr. Brent Bates will give a welcome and opening remarks at 6 p.m. in Stauffacher Theatre. The celebration features thousands of luminarias, lavishly decorated trees, musical performances, desserts and drinks, arts, crafts and tram rides around campus.
Mr. and Mrs. Clause will visit with children, and Rowdie the Roadrunner will spread holiday cheer throughout the evening.
Attendees will receive a schedule of performances and activities as they come on campus. Schools participating this year include performances by SFCC, Camdenton, Smith-Cotton, Cole Camp, Clinton, Sacred Heart, Boonville, Lincoln, Marshall, Smithton and Versailles. The schools participating are subject to change.
