Five Saline County Career Center marketing students represented the program by competing in the 3rd annual Adzou Challenge and received special recognition on December 4, 2023.
During the day, students received a tour of the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, and participated in the challenge. The AdZou Challenge is a day-long event held at the Missouri School of Journalism, and immerses students in the field of strategic communication and provides them with the opportunity to participate in a statewide advertising competition. Teams from various schools compete to develop an advertising campaign within a 60-minute timeframe, followed by a 10-minute presentation to convince judges of their campaign’s superiority. The winning team receives an AdZou Challenge award and recognition on the Missouri School of Journalism website and social media.
The Saline County Marketing group was represented by Michelle Lin, Holly Huston, Bailey Kueker, Avery Evans, and Kaylen Alvarez. During the awards ceremony the group was presented with the “Top Team Presenter” trophy and were recognized by the institute as having the best presentation.
