
A four-vehicle accident occurred Sunday, December 10, in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when Vehicle driven by 30-year-old Alexis Zook, was traveling westbound, in the left lane- heading eastbound on US Highway 50. Zook’s vehicle then struck a second vehicle driven by 32-year-old Holly Lancaster, head on. Lancaster’s vehicle then spun outward into the right lane, causing a nearby vehicle driven by 35-year-old Cody Taylor, to strike Lancaster’s vehicle on the passenger side.
A fourth Vehicle driven by 38-year-old, Bettie Fisher, struck debris in the roadway.
Lancaster and two occupants in the vehicle suffered Serious injuries resulting in being transported to Children’s Mercy and Research Hospital.
Zook and one other occupant were seriously injured and transferred to Children’s Mercy and Research Hospital
Taylor and another occupant were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for moderate, and serious injuries.
