A fatal car accident was reported on Saturday December 16.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Dennis Klatt, ran off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected, and ran off the left side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to strike a trailer parked in a private lot.

Klatt was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Howard County Coroner.

The accident occurred at 4:00P.M. on Missouri 5 South of County Road 345 in Howard County.
