The Sedalia Police Department arrested several suspects in relation to a series of burglaries in December.

According to the Sedalia Police Department, officers received reports of approximately 16 storage units that were burglarized at KO Storage Facility located at 1526 West Main Street in early December. There were multiple victims and over $40,000.00 in property that was reported stolen. Patrol Officers were able to gain leads during the initial investigation and the cases were further investigated by the Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau.

During the investigation two suspects were developed. Detectives served a search warrant at a storage unit facility in Sedalia on December 14. It was determined that the items were stolen from multiple recent storage unit burglaries that occurred in Johnson County.
