The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing one lane on Johnson County Route Y for brush cutting operations starting at approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. December 26-29.

This will not be a complete closure, but will require lane closures. All work is weather permitting.

Crews will be conducting brush cutting operations on Route Y from 671 Southeast to 871 Southeast on Tuesday and Wednesday (December 26-27).

Crews will then conduct these operations on Route Y 871 Southeast to 921 Southeast on Thursday, and Friday (December 28-29).

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
