The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a crash on December 23.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Steven Medina changed lanes, and struck a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Daniel Sappington.

This lane switch caused Sappington’s vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway and overturn.

Sappington was transported to University of Missouri Hospital for moderate injuries.

The crash occurred at 2:20 P.M. in Saline County.
