The Higginsville Police Department conducted an arrest on December 26.
According to the HPD, a traffic stop was performed when they noticed that a truck with expired license plates was traveling on the road
Police were able to come in contact with the driver, and noticed a strong intoxicant smell coming from them.
Police identified the driver as 59-year-old Anthony Fiene.
Fiene was asked by police to cooperate with the field sobriety test, but failed.
Police were able to receive a breath sample from Fiene, which tested for .219 BAC.
Fiene was taken into custody where his bond was set at $40,000.
Fiene has been charged with a DWI Felony.
