Two area residents were injured in a crash in Saline County on Friday, January 5.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 72-year-old Vicki Sauble, of Marshall, failed to stop at a stop sign and struck another vehicle driven by 44-year-old Brandon Smith. Smith’s vehicle overturned twice before coming to a rest.

Sauble was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Smith had minor injuries.

The crash occurred at 1:39 p.m. on Missouri 240 in Saline County.
