The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a crash on Saturday night.

The crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Brian Albert struck the rear end of a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Volodymyr Vedenov.

Vedenov’s vehicle then traveled off the north side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. The vehicle came to rest north of the roadway on the driver’s side.

Albert’s vehicle was driven to a controlled stop.

Vedenov was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital for minor injuries.

The crash occurred in Saline County on I-70 Westbound at the 81-mile marker at 10:15 PM.
