The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a single-vehicle crash on Sunday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, The incident occurred when a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Timothy Peterson, who was northbound,  traveled off the west side of the roadway, impacting a MoDOT sign.

Subsequently, Peterson continued through an embankment, ultimately striking a tree.

Peterson faced minor injuries.

The crash occurred at ¼ mile south of US-24 on Route D at 3:05 AM in Lafayette County.
