An area woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in Johnson County on Thursday, January 11.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Cayleigh Clouse began to skid and crossed the center of the roadway. Another vehicle driven by 30-year-old Zachary Knight, struck the rear passenger side of Clouse’s vehicle.

Clouse was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Life-flight.

The crash occurred at 2:07 p.m. on Northbound Missouri 13 in Johnson County.
