The City of Sedalia Public Works Department will be delaying trash service pick up by one day in anticipation for extremely cold temperatures during the early part of next week.

Trash collection will now occur Wednesday, January 17, through Saturday, January 20. Tuesday pick-up will be delayed until Wednesday, Wednesday pick-up will be delayed until Thursday, Thursday will be picked up on Friday, and Friday’s pick-up will be on Saturday.

The safety of Sanitation workers and the possibility of equipment failure is of concern during these conditions.
