A Pilot Grove man was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Cooper County on Tuesday, January 16.

According to a report, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Thomas Stoecker skidded and traveled off the side of the roadway. Stoecker’s vehicle struck a fence and a utility pole.

Stoecker was transported to Bothwell Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 11:41 p.m. on Missouri 135 in Cooper County.
