The Marshall Public School district is holding a groundbreaking ceremony as the district prepares for the construction of the Marshall Intermediate School.

The ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 7 at Spainhower Primary School, located at 700 East Slater Street. The district plans to begin construction of the Intermediate School at the end of February or early-March, weather dependent.

The planned location of the Intermediate School will be across the street from Spainhower Primary School, just directly north of that facility.
