A dense fog advisory is in effect in several area counties. The advisory is in effect until noon on Thursday, January 25.

Dense fog creates hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

The counties affected include Saline, Johnson, Carroll, Chariton, Lafayette, Howard, Pettis, and Cooper in the KMMO listening area.
