Mary Ellen Brzuchalski-Morgan, 64, of Marshall, MO, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Marshall, with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Inurnment will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra or Community Food Pantry in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born March 7, 1959, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Leo F. Brzuchalski and Anita P. McCord Brzuchalski. She was a 1977 graduate of Marshall High School and a 1981 graduate of University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and interior design. While at the University of Missouri she was a member of a social sorority. On September 5, 1992, she married Curtis D. Morgan who preceded her in death on January 21, 2014. After graduation she returned to Marshall and was store manager for TG&Y. She moved to Edmond, OK where she was store manager for Wal-Mart then moved to Terre Haute, IN where she was district manager for Wal-Mart. Curtis and Mary Ellen moved to Osage Beach after Curtis’s retirement where Mary Ellen was a travel agent. She returned to Marshall in 2018 where she was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She enjoyed golfing, cooking and her dogs.

Survivors include three brothers, Richard L. Brzuchalski (Rebecca) of Marshall, Charles W. Brzuchalski of Jefferson City, MO and Dale A. Brzuchalski (Debra) of Kingsport, TN; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and two stepsons, Shawn Morgan (Christine) and Stacey Morgan.
