Robert Lee “Bob” Thomason, 68, of rural Slater, MO, died Thursday, January 25, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Salem Evangelical Church near Saline City.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.  Memorials are suggested to Salem Evangelical Church or Salem Evangelical Cemetery and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born November 4, 1955, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Johnnie Thomason Jr. and Lorene Mary Leimkuehler Thomason.  Bob lived in Saline County his entire life, was a 1973 graduate of Slater High School and a 1977 graduate of Missouri Valley College where he earned his bachelor’s degree.  On August 14, 1982, he married Teresa Humphreys who survives of the home.  Bob’s career was spent with Quinn Concrete in Marshall, where he retired after 33 years of service, in addition to being a lifelong farmer.  He was a lifelong member of Salem Evangelical Church, where he served in numerous capacities, including the cemetery board; and was a member of the N.R.A.

In addition to his wife, Teresa; he is survived by two sons, Derrick Thomason (Sarah) of Waverly and Daniel Thomason of rural Slater; seven grandchildren: Cole, Claire, Dalton, Mia and Mylan Thomason, and Beau and Adalee Johnson; one brother, Charles Thomason of rural Gilliam; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Bobbie Lee Thomason.
