Donald M. Cramer, 83, of Sedalia, died Friday, January 26, 2024 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Sedalia, with Rev. Gary Huddelson officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral chapel.  Burial will be the Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery, with Russell DeHaven, Carlos Astor, Russell Hayworth, Chester Litz, Josh Astor, and Steve Hayworth serving as pallbearers.  Memorials are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter in care of the funeral chapel.

Born May 4, 1940 in Sedalia, he was the son of the late Emmett and Pauline Parrott Cramer.

He is survived by his significant other of fifty-two years, Clara Pottorff, who survives of the home; four sons, David Wayne Cramer of Kansas City, Darrel Scott Cramer of Sedalia, Darren Caleb Cramer of Boonville, and Chester Litz of Newport, Tennessee; a daughter, Marguerite Jones of Cole Camp; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son, Doug Cramer; and three grandsons.

Mr. Cramer had attended Epworth United Methodist Church.  He worked for many years for Meadow Gold Dairy, later Anderson-Erickson Dairy, until his retirement.  Following his retirement, he worked for WalMart.  He enjoyed bicycle riding, gardening, and feeding squirrels.
