Pettis County authorities arrested a subject after executing a search warrant on Saturday, January 27.

The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office and Mid-Missouri Drug Task force served a search warrant at a residence in Pettis County. Deputies breached the door, entered the residence, and after a brief resistance, 27-year-old Daniel Bain, of Sedalia, was taken into custody. A search of the residence ensued and 106 counterfeit Oxycodone pills (fentanyl) along with drug paraphernalia was seized.

Bain was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Pettis County Jail. A warrant was later issued for 2nd Degree Trafficking with no bond.
