According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, yesterday morning, a crash occurred at US 24 east of Route V in Carroll County.

The incident involved a vehicle driven by a 45-year-old Chrissy M. Staton.

The vehicle slid on the ice-covered roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the right side, and overturned.

Staton sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Carroll County EMS to Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
