On January 30, 2024, law enforcement agencies in Boonville, Missouri, swiftly responded to reports of gunfire in the 500 block of Katy Drive.

Witness accounts led officers to a house where the suspected shooter had sought refuge.

After a tense standoff, a juvenile emerged from the residence and was apprehended. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, although a house bore the impact of bullets.
