Regarding the shooting incident on Katy Drive on 01/30/2024, 21-year-old Jarez Foulks of Boonville has been arrested and charged in Cooper County Associate Circuit Court on multiple charges: two counts of Assault in the 1st degree or attempt, Armed Criminal Action, Endangering The Welfare of a Child Creating Substantial Risk in the 1st degree,  and Unlawful Use of Weapon.

His bond was set at $150,000.00 cash or surety, which he has posted, leading to his release from custody.

The investigation continues, with detectives actively following up on leads.

The Boonville Police Department will release updates as the investigation progresses.

Additionally, a second shooter has been identified, who is currently at large, and their whereabouts are unknown.
